We may also receive personal information about you from third parties—for example, where an organisation with which you have a relationship provides contact information so that Cambia can deliver services on its behalf.
How we use your information
Depending on our relationship with you, we may use personal information to:
respond to enquiries and communicate with you;
provide our services and fulfil our contractual obligations;
manage client, supplier, partner and other professional relationships;
consider employment or service-provider enquiries;
meet our legal and regulatory obligations;

Our lawful bases for processing
We only process personal information where we have a lawful basis for doing so.
Depending on the circumstances, this may include:
Contract — where processing is necessary to enter into or perform a contract with you.
Legitimate interests — where processing is necessary for Cambia’s legitimate business interests or those of another organisation, provided those interests are not overridden by your rights and interests.
Legal obligation — where we need to process information to comply with the law.
Consent — where we have asked for and you have given consent for a particular purpose. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw that consent.
We may share personal information where necessary with people and organisations that help us operate our business or deliver services. These may include:
Cambia employees and people working on our behalf;
service partners involved in delivering services to clients;
professional advisers and business-service providers, such as legal, accounting, HR and IT providers;
technology and cloud-service providers; and
regulators, authorities or other parties where disclosure is required or permitted by law.
We expect organisations processing personal information on our behalf to handle it appropriately and in accordance with applicable data-protection requirements.
International transfers
Some of the technology, cloud and professional services used by Cambia may involve personal information being processed outside the United Kingdom.
Where personal information is transferred internationally, we take appropriate steps to ensure that it receives protection in accordance with applicable UK data-protection law.
How long we keep information
We keep personal information only for as long as necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, including where we need to retain it to meet legal, regulatory, contractual, accounting or reporting requirements.
How long we retain particular information will depend on the nature of the information and our relationship with you.
When information is no longer required, we take appropriate steps to delete or securely dispose of it.
How we protect information
We use appropriate organisational and technical measures designed to protect personal information against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, loss or destruction.
We also require relevant suppliers and service providers to handle personal information appropriately where they process it on our behalf.

ask us to delete your personal information in certain circumstances;
